In today's complex world, freedom comes in many forms. It might be the ability to pursue our hobbies, or to enjoy our relationships. However we define it, freedom involves time--and the ability to spend it they way we want to. Financial security is the ability to spend our time they we choose--and knowing that those we love and who depend on us have the same opportunity. Working together, we can identify the financial goals and solutions to provide the freedoms of financial security for you and your family. |
My MissionTo bring passion, purpose, and partnership to those who care about the freedom of achieving financial security. -Dan Schiffman Visit Northwestern Mutual's Financial Realities findings as reported in USA Today .

Left to right: Dan Schiffman, Chairman, Special Gifts Committee; Jeffrey & Patricia Hurwitz; Dr. P. Gregory Rausch; Mrs. Sylvia Cable and her daughter, Jennifer Morgan; Tom Kleinhanzl, President & CEO, Frederick Memorial Healthcare System Patty and Jeff Hurwitz, Dr. P. Gregory Rausch and the late Dr. Dana Cable were recently named Frederick Memorial Hospital’s Good Samaritans of the Year for 2011 at a recognition event for some of the hospital’s most generous benefactors. Created in 1990, the Good Samaritan of the Year award is the highest honor conveyed upon an individual by Frederick Memorial Hospital. The annual award recognizes deserving individuals for their generosity to FMH, as well as their selfless commitment to improving the quality of life in the entire Frederick community. In his introductory remarks, Chairman of the FMH Special Gifts Committee Dan Schiffman commented on the shared bond that unites each of the 2011 honorees. “Each of tonight’s four honorees has made a significant impact on the care available to patients with cancer in our community,” said Schiffman. “Because of their efforts, these patients have access to the best technology for early diagnosis, comprehensive treatment and compassionate end-of-life-care.” “Cancer is still a powerful disease,” concluded Schiffman, “but its power has been significantly limited, thanks in part to the contributions of our 2011 Good Samaritans of the Year.”
